The Adcocks have been selected alongside doubles specialists’ Andy Ellis, Marcus Ellis, Chris Langridge, Peter Mills, Heather Olver and Lauren Smith.

Rajiv Ouseph, Toby Penty, Fontaine Chapman and Chloe Birch will lead England’s men’s and women’s singles assault in the 12-team tournament.

The Championships is held every two years and England will be hoping to improve on the team bronze medal they won in Moscow in 2013.

Since 1998, England have won five silver medals while they last beat Denmark to gold in 1984.

In the last two Championships, England have been beaten by Denmark in the semi-finals and Ouseph will be hoping to go one better this time after winning both his singles’ rubbers in those two losses.

The tournament will be streamed live on Badminton Europe’s YouTube channel and for ticket information go to www.emtc15.eu.
