There is a way to get an Apple iPad Air for less than £60 for Black Friday
A new deal has cut the price of an Apple iPad Air by 70% and could the cheapest ever price for the groundbreaking tablet.
The refurbished iPad Air is usually priced at around £200 but the Black Friday deal cuts the price to just £59 from an unlikely place.
Deals website Wowcher is actually one of the best places online to get a deal on refurbished or heavily discounted tech and Black Friday seems to be the best time of year to grab a bargain.
The ultra-thin iPad Air has a 1.4 GHz dual-core 64-bit CPU and 1GB of RAM, and the discounted model comes with 16GB of storage. The screen size is a generous 9.7-inch screen, which places it somewhere between Apple’s largest mobile phone screen and the Apple MacBook range.
Wowcher says it has sold nearly 3,000 of the refurbished Apple iPad Air devices and says it will ship them within 48 hours for each order.
The iPad Air is one of the most successful tablets of all time. The newest generation is the fifth in the lineup and sells for around £500 new. Older models, including the iPad Air 2, can be found for significantly cheaper and refurbished versions are cheaper than brand new.
The Wowcher deal is for the first generation of the Apple iPad Air using the brand’s clever A7 chip that was also used in the iPhones of the same generation.
While the original iPad Air is not as modern as fifth generation models it is perfect for streaming, mobile gaming and browsing the internet. At just £59 for the refurbished version, it was one of the cheapest tablets on the market and it is the cheapest option if you want to own an Apple product.
