From 15p carrots and potatoes to cut-price lamb leg and salmon, Sainsbury’s has launched its Easter roast deals for Nectar shoppers
Supermarket giant Sainsbury's has waded into the Easter price battle with some seriously cheap deals on vegetables to accompany its selection of roast centrepieces this year.
Right now, providing you're a Nectar Card holder, you can get selected meats for better than half price, like a lamb leg for £15.70, or a half price salmon side for £10.80.
But the biggest savings are on the vegetables to go with your Easter roast dinner - because they're available from just 15 pence.

Take your Nectar Card with you, and you could pick up a 1kg bag of carrots for just 15p, for example.
Or two kilos of British white potatoes are also just 15p while stocks last. British parsnips, another roast-dinner staple, can also be had for 15p per 500g bag, and a whole British swede, or a Savoy cabbage, is also only 15 pence.
Among the other deals on offer are savings on starters or desserts, and 25% off six selected bottles of wine.
Delivery costs from £1 to £9, depending on your order and your time slot, and click and collect starts at 50p.
