A budget-friendly Amazon bundle and an American-style gift box could keep pancake lovers flipping long after Pancake Day is over
We've found a deal on Amazon that's perfect for Pancake Day - in fact it could serve up enough pancakes to keep you going all week.
Shrove Tuesday lands on February 17 this year, and we've been hunting for pancake bargains. Then we saw a deal for six bags of Aunt Bessie's pancake mix and it stopped us in our tracks.
It's just £9.60 for all six bags, and each bag makes up to 16 pancakes. So that's nearly 100 pancakes for less than a tenner.
And this is a premium mix, from a beloved brand known for its terrific Yorkshire puddings. The bags contain a "classic and simple" batter that you just add an egg to and away you go.
Another Aunt Bessie bargain we found is this Pancake Day gift box, which contains everything you need to make American-style pancakes.
Unlike our own French-style pancakes, these are more cake-like in texture, and thicker and smaller. They're usually consumed in piles and adding syrup is basically the law.
This set costs £14.99, but it's a 10 pack, so there's still more than enough to feed a family - and it comes with all the toppings you could wish for, including Nutella, lemon juice, and even sugar.
Amazon Prime members get free delivery on eligible items. Non-Prime customers may pay delivery charges depending on the order.
