Whirlpool is recalling more Hotpoint and Indesit washing machines - here’s the full list
Following massive recalls of faulty washing machines and tumble dryers in 2019, Whirlpool is adding to its list of recalled models.
These three additional models amount to an extra 5,000 machines being included in the ongoing recalls.

It was announced at the end of last year that some Hotpoint and Indesit washing machines sold between October 2014 and February 2018 were affected by a fault that can cause the door locking system to overheat which, in turn, creates the risk of a fire.
Whirlpool said, “When the heating element in the washing machine is activated, in very rare cases a component in the door lock system can overheat, which, depending on product features, can pose a risk of fire.”
At the time, in December 2019, 79 fires were thought to be attributed to this fault, which develops over time.
