This is everything happening in Pokémon GO in February - the game's busiest month yet
Niantic, the developers of popular augmented reality game Pokémon GO, have revealed the in-game event schedule for February, and it's the busiest month yet in the history of the game.
In a blog post, the developers highlighted seven event coming over the next few weeks for fans to be excited about.

Save Shadow Raikou From Giovanni!

Hide AdPlayers who have completed their most recent set of Team GO Rocket Special Research will have access to February’s Team GO Rocket Special Research, titled 'A Professor's Work Is Never Done'.
Those players will be be tasked to defeat Team GO Rocket, its leaders, and Giovanni once more for a chance to rescue the Legendary Shadow Pokémon, Raikou.
February Research Breakthrough Encounter: Woobat With Bonus Woobat Candies!
From Saturday February 1 at 9pm to to Sunday 1 March at the same time the Bat Pokémon Woobat will be making its Pokémon GO debut, and will be available as Research Breakthrough encounters with bonus Woobat Candies.
This Psychic and Flying-type Pokémon uses the suction from its nose to stick to cave walls as it sleeps, and leaves a hearth shaped mark on skin which is said to bring good fortune.
Perfect for Valentine's Day.
Tornadus Zooms Into Five-Star Raids!

Hide AdFrom Tuesday 4 February 9pm to Tuesday 25 February at 9pm, Tornadus, the Cyclone Pokémon, will also be making its Pokémon GO debut, and will be in five-star raids.
It’s said that when Tornadus flies, it creates winds so powerful that everything surrounding it gets blown away.
"This Flying-type Pokémon could be a legendary addition to your battle team," say Niantic, "so get ready to take it on with Pokémon that know Electric, Ice and Rock-type attacks!"
A Sinnoh Region Celebration Event
"In appreciation of all the great Pokémon that we’ve befriended that were originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, we’re happy to announce a Sinnoh region celebration event!" say Niantic.

Hide AdFrom Friday 7 February at 8am to Monday 10 February at 10pm, Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region will be appearing more often in the wild and in raids.
All 7 km Eggs obtained during the event period will exclusively hatch certain Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, including Budew, Combee, Bronzor, Gible, Riolu, Hippopotas, and Mantyke.
Event-specific Field Research tasks will reward you with encounters with Pokémon that were originally discovered in the region, as well as Sinnoh Stones.
Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020
Pokémon GO's annual Valentine’s Day event is back and from Friday 14 February at 8am to Monday 17 February 10pm, pink Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild, in raids, in Eggs, and as Field Research encounters.

Hide AdAudino, the Hearing Pokémon, and Alomomola, the Caring Pokémon, will be making their Pokémon GO debut, though they will be rare, and players will only encounter them if they are very lucky.
To continue the pink Pokémon festivities there will also be a Raid Day on Saturday 15 February from 2pm to 5pm featuring Lickitung.
Lickitung will be in four-star raids and know Body Slam, and players can can receive up to five additional Raid Passes at no cost during the event by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
Celebrate Your Love for Friends With a Special Friendship Weekend Event
Romantic love isn’t all that we’re celebrating this month!" say Niantic. "Show some love for your friends."

Friendship levels will increase faster2x Trade Candy1/2 Trade Stardust costThe number of Gifts you can open daily will increase to 40.The number of Gifts you can carry in your inventory will increase to 20.
New Experiments: Pokémon Spotlight Hour and Mystery Bonus Hour

The Pokémon GO team will be testing out two new types of events this month: Pokémon Spotlight Hour and Mystery Bonus Hour.
The Pokémon Spotlight Hour has already been and gone, but Mystery Bonus Hour will feature an unknown bonus which will be live in the app on Thursday 6 February from 6pm to 7pm local time.
