Mansfield is not worth the hassle when trying to shop

Reading the Chad recently and looking at your photos of ‘dozy parkers’ has prompted me to write to you about Mansfield.

We seem to have an abundance of traffic wardens in Mansfield who are out to give tickets for parking they determine to be wrong, even in proper parking bays.

The wife and I agree that Mansfield is not worth the hassle when trying to shop.

We parked in the disabled spaces opposite Iceland, placed our blue badge on the dash, fetched a 30-minute parking ticket and put it on top of the blue badge.

We did our shopping, were back in 25 minutes and found we had received a parking ticket because the ticket was on top of the blue badge, covering part of the expiry date.

Something like this does not give us encouragement to shop in Mansfield, ever. This and the administration wasting £80,000 of our monies on an ice rink just about makes my day.
