LETTER: Can't DNA solve mystery of Barbara Mayo murder?

I would like to know what happened over the murder of Barbara Mayo at Ault Hucknall near Glapwell, just eight miles from Mansfield, in 1970.

Have they now got the DNA, or have the police forgotten about her?
I remember because I was stopped by the police at the bottom of the hill and interviewed at the time. I was on a
ten-mile run and the hill was hard to get up, about 900 metres.
Then I got stopped again at the top of the hill and interviewed again. They took my name and I went on my way, but they did not get back to me.
