Young people confirm their faith at minster
Twenty-two young people were confirmed in Southwell Minster by the Rt Revd Paul Williams, Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham, and the Rt Revd Tony Porter, Bishop of Sherwood.
The young people, known as candidates, came from churches across the diocese having attended a series of special classes to prepare them for confirmation, which marks a significant step forward in their faith.
Bishop Paul said: “Across the diocese we are so thankful for many truly inspiring and creative young people who are choosing to follow Jesus and are making a difference for him in their schools and communities.”
