Young mum assaulted over her clothing
A Mansfield man assaulted his partner when he took exception to what she was wearing, Mansfield Magistrates’ Court has heard.
James Angus Fitzpatrick (22) of Victoria Street admitted committing common assault on the woman between 1st and 30th June.
He also admitted beating the woman in a separate incident on the 26th July, the court heard.

Hide AdFitzpatrick punched his partner in the row over her clothing and also assaulted her while she was standing on the stairs holding a baby, the court heard.
He was given a 12-month community order with supervision, and ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work in the community. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
