WW1 exhibition

An exhibition focusing on people’s memories of the First World War from across the county is open at Nottingham’s Bromley House Library.
1914: British soldiers from the Royal Welch Fusiliers and the Cheshire Regiment in a Belgian town on their way to Mons as part of the British Expeditionary Force. Both 1st and 2nd Bns of the RWF were part of the BEF. Their ranks later included the poets Siegfried Sassoon and Robert Graves. Many of the photographs and other artefacts on display have been contributed by the Angel Row library’s members in an effort to see their families’ experiences of the Great War shared.

Bromley House Library and The First World War 1914 - 1918 is open every Wednesday between 10.30am – 4pm.
