The court heard that at 5.15pm a ranger at Clumber Park saw Toon masturbating in full sight of families and children.

“The ranger told you to leave, which you did so,“ District Judge Diane Baker said.

“The ranger followed you out of the park but you returned.”

Toon, of Mallard Close, Shirebrook, Mansfield, was then spotted near the woods by a couple who were walking their dog in the area at the time.

They confronted him about it but he ran away and hid in the bushes.

The court was told the pair managed to take a photograph of him which is how he was identified.

When asked by the judge why the incident occurred, Toon said: “I feel that it was to do with frustrations with my home life at the time.”

Toon was given conditional bail, not to enter Clumber Park or Lime Tree Avenue.

Toon will be sentenced at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 17.
