Hide AdCouncillor Diana Meale, chair of economic development at NCC, said: “Employers will often see your CV before they see you, so it is absolutely vital that you create a favourable impression and include the right information they are looking for.
“Many of the people who come to our work clubs have limited experience of preparing a CV, often because they’ve not had to in the past or they have recently lost a long-term job and are out of practice. Regardless of how long you’ve been unemployed or even if you’re in work and are thinking of looking for a new job, these events are a great chance to get free, expert advice on an important aspect of getting the job you want.”
