Workers exploitation meeting at Ladybrook Community Centre

A meeting to discuss zero hours contracts, exploitation at work and what can be done to fight them is being held by Mansfield Socialist Party on Wednesday at Ladybrook Community Centre at 7.30pm.

A zero-hour contract is a contract of employment used in the United Kingdom which contains provisions which create an on-call arrangement between employer and employee.

The employee agrees to be available for work as and when required so the practice has been criticised as no particular number of hours or times of work are specified.

All are welcome at the Ladybrook meeting.
