Woman remains in critical condition after being hit by car near Portland College
Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 4.10pm to a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian near to the Portland College at Harlow Wood.
The woman – the pedestrian – was taken to Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre for treatment for life-threatening injuries.

Hide AdNo arrests have been made in connection with this incident although crash investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the vehicles involved to contact Nottinghamshire Police.
Detectives are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the Stagecoach ‘Pronto’ bus which left Nottingham city centre at just after 3.20pm and was travelling through the area at the time of the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 573 of 28 September.
