Woman with baby threatened by four men at knifepoint in her Kirkby home

A gang with covered faces entered a house in Kirkby and demanded cash from a woman who was home alone with her one-year-old child.

It happened in Poplar Avenue at about 10pm on Friday,April 27.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses and information following the aggravated burglary.

It was reported that one of the men had a knife - all men had their faces covered.

The men left with a small amount of cash. No-one was hurt during the incident.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: "We believe this was an isolated incident. We'd like to reassure people that we are determined to catch those responsible."
