Witness appeal after crash involving car and teenager in Mansfield

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a crash involving a car and a 17-year-old man in Mansfield.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the crash in St Peter’s Way at 10.55pm on Saturday.

The youth was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment. His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed for a number of hours and re-opened at around 2am on Sunday.

Anyone who saw what happened or any drivers who may have recorded dashcam footage of the incident are urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 962 of 9 February 2019, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
