PC Dan Mitchell from the Wirksworth and Middleton Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “I will be out and about in the community over the coming months to meet as many people as possible and introduce myself to them as their new police officer.
“I look forward to speaking with local residents to discuss any issues that they may and the ways in which we, as the police, can tackle them and make improvements to the area.
“Wirksworth and Middleton are two of the safest places to live and with the help of the community and our partners we can continue to work together to make it even better.”
