Wildlife rescue group sends out SOS for new vehicle

Mansfield Wildlife Rescue is looking for donations to replace a vehicle used for transporting injured birds and animals.

Recently their only vehicle that is used daily for vet runs, collections and attending fund raisers has broken down,

Owner Cheryl Martins said: “It is an old vehicle and has had issues in the past but it is now beyond repair.

Due to this the rescue can not attend any emergency call outs and potentially seriously injured animals may suffer without our help.
