Harsher weather is on the way this weekend but thankfully temperatures will still remain fairly warm.

Later today, the daytime showers will die out to leave a mainly dry evening with a mix of clear spells and patchy cloud.

Isolated showers may bubble up through the early hours. Minimum temperature 16C.

Saturday will begin with a mainly dry start with clouds and some scattered showers. Bands of rain and occasionally heavy showers will sweep eastwards during the afternoon, some of these giving a risk of thunder. A thunderstorm may hit around lunchtime.

Maximum temperature will be 24C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Changeable with bands of rain and showers. Sunday is set to be cloudy with light rain throughout the day.

Showers will become heavy at times with a risk of thunder. Maximum temperature 21C.

Temperatures will continue to stay rather warm, but feeling breezy in open spaces on Monday.
