Hour by hour weather forecast for Mansfield as snow looks set to hit UK over weekend

The warning covers the period between 3pm today and midnight tomorrow as cold air emanating from Russia and Eastern Europe moves across the UK.

There are warnings of ‘significant snow accumulations’ in parts of Eastern England and Scotland.

There are warnings that the wintry weather could last until Wednesday in some parts.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist, Paul Gundersen, said: “The UK is in for a notably cold and snowy period over the next week, with very cold air in place over the whole of the UK by Sunday.”

Mansfield is set for a largely wet day today, with wintry showers forecast to begin at around 8pm.

They could last until 4am tomorrow.

Sunday is then set to be dry, with a chance of snow between 6am and 3pm on Monday.
