The Met Office has outlined a cold and frosty start with dry conditions to follow and it is expected to stay generally sunny.

However, there may be patches of fog which will be very slow to clear, according to the Met Office, and winds will be mostly light and variable.

By tonight, the Met Office has forecast dry conditions with clear spells and it will be cold with a widespread frost forming as well as some further patches of fog.

Winds are expected to be mostly light and variable.

The Met Office has highlighted that temperatures at the beginning of the day will be around zero degrees centigrade and around six degrees centigrade in the middle of the day falling to one-degree centigrade by the late evening.
