WEATHER: Warm day with sunny spells for East Midlands
The Met Office has said today will be a fine day for the region as temperatures reach 17 degrees centigrade.
Today, Monday, May 16, is expected to be pleasantly warm sunny spells.
Whilst cloud will build through the day, and the odd spot of rain cannot be ruled out, it should remain dry for most. Winds will also remain light throughout.
The good weather will continue overnight as it will be mostly dry, with a mixture of variable cloud and clear spells. It will turn chilly where clearer skies persist, with a very localised grass frost possible. Minimum Temperature 3 °C.
