Weather forecast for Tour finish- you may need an umbrella

Hundreds are set to gather in Mansfield to welcome the Tour of Britain this afternoon- but will the weather hold up?

Well, according to the Met Office, it’s set to be a wet one- with rain set to move eastwards across the region from midday.

Forecasters say the rain will ‘become persistent’ during the afternoon, with the Tour due to finish in Mansfield at 3.10pm, and may not ease until early evening.
