The East Midlands has been spared the terrible weather which has seen hundreds evacuated in parts of Yorkshire and Lancashire this weekend.

Today it will stay generally cloudy with any rain and drizzle clearing away southwards during the morning. It could brighten for a time before occasional light rain or drizzle returns later in the afternoon. Maximum Temperature 11°C.

Tonight any drizzle will move away to leave a dry night with a few clear spells developing. Temperatures dipping into single figures. Minimum Temperature 8°C.

On Monday another fine and dry day with some sunshine. Winds will pick up to a brisk southeasterly during the day and temperatures just reaching double figures. Maximum Temperature 10°C.
