WEATHER: Cloudy with heavy showers and thunder

The met Office has forecast a cloudy start to the day with light ran and outbreaks of heavier showers late on. Expect some brighter spells but with more intermittent showers and a risk of general rain by the afternoon. Some showers may be heavy, slow moving and thundery.
By tonight, showers will become fewer further between with mist and low cloud forming in the evening with rain more patchy in places.
