WEATHER: Clouds break into sunny spells over East Midlands
The weather is set to get warmer and brighter today as clouds break and the sun shines through.
The Met Office has forecast a cloudy start to the day today (Thursday, May 12) with mist over hills and near the coast.
During the morning the cloud will break with most parts seeing sunny spells during the afternoon and getting warm with a peak temperature of 22 degrees centigrade.
Tonight expect more cloud, and hill fog and coastal mist returning from the north sea. Breezy near the coast but lighter winds inland. Most parts will remain dry.
