WEATHER: A wet day in the East Midlands
The Met Office has said there will be rain this morning, showers this afternoon, becoming drier overnight.
Today, Wednesday, May 18, will start off cloudy this morning with outbreaks of rain.
The rain will become more showery by this afternoon, with some locally heavy showers developing, and these are likely to be slow moving with light winds. Maximum Temperature 16 °C.
Tonight will see any residual heavy showers at first this evening will soon die out to leave partly cloudy conditions. Some patches of mist and low cloud may form under light winds. Minimum Temperature 9 °C.
