Footage of thieves '˜blowing up' a Huthwaite cash machine earlier today has been released.

Bosses at the shop on Market Street said the shop is believed to have been targeted at 2,45am this morning when the alarm went off.

The footage given to your Chad by Huthwaite resident Becky Williams shows the thieves break into the shop and take cash.

Miss Williams has said she “wants them to be caught.”

A police spokesman said: “We were called to Main Street at around 2.25am today. A man was seen leaving in a white Audi.

“If you saw anything suspicious in the area or have any information that could help, please call us on 101 quoting incident 64 of 31 August. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

Detectives are particularly appealing to anyone with dash cam footage who was driving in the area around the time it happened, to get in touch.
