Washing machine blaze at Kirkby home
Firefighters attended a blaze at a home in Kirkby this afternoon.
The fire involved a washing machine alight in a kitchen at a property on Western Avenue.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, a positive ventilation fan and a hose reel to extinguish the flames.
The stop message was received at 2.02pm.
