Warsop Mens’ Probus - President Hugh Ashton welcomed 30 members to the Parish Centre on Wednesday 19th February where the guest speaker Mr Steve Ward told of his career as a boxer.

Starting boxing at school as a means to defend himself from bullies he found that he was good and became an amateur. He then turned professional and after a long successful career retired and then travelled the world as a bare knuckle fighter with 39 wins and 1 fight stopped by the police!

After a break in the Stable bar 30 members had lunch and the meeting was closed at 2.00

The next meeting will be 19th March at the Parish Centre.

Warsop Cubs - Warsop cubs visited water meadows swimming pool for a fun swim night on Thursday. leaders Mr a melless, Mr I Taylor and mars c bostock accompanied them.

Warsop Scouts - Warsop scouts visted ice Sheffield for ice skating on Wednesday evening. mr a grieve and mr l smith accompined them

Warsop Beavers - Warsop Beavers met on Thursday at the Methodist church and had a games evening including a beetle drive. Miss k Howard was assisted by mrs j butler. On Friday beavers took part in a sleepover at ollerton scout hqs. Tey had a space theme and made paper machie planets, rocket collages and alien masks.

Mr A Melless , Miss K howard and mrs j butler made arrangements.
