Warning after thieves steal petrol from vehicles in Edwinstowe
Nottinghamshire Police are asking residents in Edwinstowe to be wary after thieves drain fuel from vehicles.
The offenders are reportedly drilling holes in the petrol tanks beneath the vehicle to drain the fuel
A police spokesman said: "We have had several reports of petrol being stolen from vehicles in Edwinstowe overnight on Wednesday, September 26."
" If you have any information on who is responsible for the crimes, please report it anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or to Nottinghamshire Police on 101."
