Local residents and police have been searching the local area for Amber, but have so far failed to find any trace of the teenager, who had just returned from a family holiday in Cornwall.

Amber’s disappearance is said to be “totally out of character”.

In a press conference this morning, her family made an emotional plea for her to come home.

Stepdad Danny said: “Just come home, just let us know you are safe.”
