Mansfield’s The Mint restaurant hope to raise up to £1,000 for Chad’s MRI Scanner Appeal during an upcoming charity night.
The Clarkson Street restaurant will hold the fundraiser on 27th September with 50 per cent of takings going to boost the coffers of our mammoth £750,000 fundraising target.
The fundraisier will also involve entertainment and a raffle night and is the latest in a regular series of charity nights at the award-winning restaurant.
Chef Shofiqul Chowdjury said: “We are a local business and this is a local charity so it is fitting we support them.
“The hospital is something that everyone will need to use at some point in their life and we want to do our bit.
“At The Mint we are all about the community and that is why we are supporting the MRI Appeal. We need businesses to come forward and help support us with either raffle prizes or donations.”
Chad has teamed up with the hospital to launch our bumper fundraising drive to help purchase a state-of-the-art MRI scanner.
The new facility will treat hundreds of thousands of patients over the next seven years and allow the hospital to offer quicker, safer and more detailed diagnosis.
Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.
All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
See the Chad website for all the latest news on the MRI Scanner Appeal.
