A Notts teacher is helping foreign youngsters get to grips not only with the English language - but also with the finer points of the county’s dialect too!

But as well as helping them get their heads round the irregular verbs and pronunciation of the national language, he’s been introducing them to Notts sayings like ‘ay up me duck’.
