Staged at the Post Mill Centre, 41 beers and 12 ciders were served up by the 20 or so brewers in attendance, which included Welbeck Abbey, Lincoln Green, Amber and Bottle Brook.

The festival ran from Thursday night through to Sunday lunch time and was supported by South Normanton pubs The Devonshire Arms, the Hawthorns and the Villager. Local bands, punk group Verbal Warning and Beatles tribute Fab Two, provided live entertainment.

“Most of the events we organise are in the Mansfield area, but we try to get into different towns and villages in our patch and we’re pleased with how thing went,” said Carl Brett of the event’s organising committee, made up of Mansfield and Ashfield CAMRA members.

“There was a good variety of beers available, all drawn from breweries within a 25-mile radius of the event.

“We’d like to thank our sponsors and the pubs for getting behind this.”
