“I am a local yoga teacher with classes in Hucknall, Arnold and Papplewick,” said Alison of Columbine Yoga. “I have recently taken on the voluntary role of British Wheel of Yoga County Rep, which makes me responsible for organising Continuous Professional Development Days for teachers and also general events for anybody.”

On 23rd March at Papplewick Village Hall there will be a special yoga day entitled ‘Walking A Spiritual Path – Exploring the ancient path of the Labyrinth’ from 10am–4pm costing £30 (British Wheel of Yoga members £25).

“The Labyrinth Day is a day suitable for anybody,” explaines Alison. “It is a combination of gentle yoga led by me and a meditative practice led by the very knowledgeable and competent Barbara Wallace, from Pilgrim Paths.

“Barbara will explain the history, contexts and possibilities of Labyrinths and invite us to walk a large canvas labyrinth.
