VIDEO: Mansfield Learning Partnership helps give students a voice

The project gives pupils from six schools across the town the opportunity to build up their employability skills through a number of events such as work placements, masterclasses with industry experts and practical business experience.

Earlier this year young people were also given the opportunity to have their views heard at the first Mansfield Youth Conversation.

The event, a partnership between Mansfield District Council and the MLP, brought together key partners from across Mansfield to give students and service providers the opportunity to talk to each other about how services are provided for young people in Mansfield.

In addition students were given the opportunity to ask questions in a ‘Question Time’ style session.
