VIDEO: Hunger-strike vicar slams hike in food prices

VIDEO: As he starts his hunger-strike protest, Mansfield vicar Rev Keith Hebden has slammed the steep hike in food prices that has seen some teachers dipping into their own pockets to feed hungry pupils.

The campaigning clergyman called in at the studios at Vision West Notts College, Mansfield, to talk about his 40-day fast highlighting the problem of food poverty.

Speaking to student Jack Mannix, he explained why he is concerned about the huge surge in the number of foodbanks and why politicians from all parties need to do more to tackle the problem.
