VIDEO: Hucknall New homes needed for abandoned puppies

Staff at Hucknall’s Buckley House vets are used to dealing with puppies - but not usually as many as 15 at a time.

This was the number of young dogs found, apparently abandoned, at the side of the Erewash Canal.

Kate Dean is a veterinary nurse at Buckley House’s sister branch, East Midlands Referrals, and a former trustee of the Animal Accident Rescue Unit has arranged health checks for the pups and looking for new homes.
