VIDEO: Family festive fun at Kirkby

Festive fun was enjoyed by all the family at Kirkby’s Christmas lights switch-on.

All the stops were pulled out for this year’s event which took place at locations around the town.

Star attractions were the giant snow globe by the Nag’s Head pub and the Super Glide ice rink in the Plaza.

There were also real reindeer and a Santa’s grotto at St Thomas’ church and a funfair on Ellis Street during Friday’s event.
