THE COUNTDOWN is continuing for the 16-mile sponsored walk from Crich to Mansfield in memory of soldier Ashley Clarkson.
The event is to raise money and awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Ashley, who is from Mansfield Woodhouse, was in the Royal Logistics Corps and had served in Iraq.
He had been diagnosed with PTSD in 2009 and was found hanged at home in March of this year.
His father Wayne Clarkson, who has organised the walk planned for 29th July, speaks to Chad reporter Nick Frame about the upcoming event.
