VIDEO: CCTV footage of Christmas tree thief in Nottinghamshire
CCTV footage has been released after a thief made a getaway with a Christmas tree from a pub in Nottinghamshire.
The video shows a weekend reveller walking out of the Chequers Inn in Cropwell Bishop, Nottingham, with the six foot tree in his arms.
The plastic tree - valued at around £30 - was taken before Christmas without any of the staff noticing until they checked the camera later that evening.
Staff at the pub said they were shocked when they saw the footage.
