UPDATE: Two boys aged 10 and 14 released under investigation after Pleasley vandalism

Two boys aged 10 and 14 arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage after property was sprayed with graffiti in Pleasley have been released under investigation.

Nobody has been charged, according to Derbyshire police.

Residents found offensive words had been sprayed on cars and a bus stop, as well as someone’s home.

The resident said he felt “sick, disgusted and ashamed” by the swear words, as he had young children living next door.

Officers arrested the two boys in connection with the damage on July 6, which took place in and around the Booth Avenue area.
