UPDATE: Police describe strangers that approached pupil walking home from Mansfield school
Nottinghamshire police have released a statement and description of the men that approached a pupil of The Samworth Church Academy.
A police spokeswoman said: “We’re investigating a report that a 12-year-old girl was approached by two men in the Stuart Avenue area of Mansfield at around 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 11 July 2018). The men are described as white and in their 20s with local accents and dark hair. One of them had a push bike and was wearing a grey tracksuit and red trainers. The other was wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt. If you recognise the descriptions or have any information that could help, please call us on 101 quoting incident 799 of 10 July.”
