UPDATE: Enquiries continue after Rainworth shop robbery
Police are looking for the person who robbed a convenience store in Rainworth.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to the Go local store on Kirklington Road which was robbed at 10.40am.
A force spokesman said: “At 10.40 this morning a man entered the shop and demanded money.
“The shopkeeper received medical treatment for his minor injuries.
“The investigation is still in the early stages but we are currently trying to piece together what happened and find the suspect.”
A witness who saw the events got in touch with our Facebook page and said: “Rainworth is full of police.”
