As a result, it is keen to find experienced support and care workers who are already employed in domiciliary care or who have experience of doing so. It’s preferable that they have a level two or level three NVQ or QCF qualification in health and social care.

Scott Marsh, chief executive officer of Respectful Care, said: “It’s important we get the right people with the right attributes.

“Caring for people is a privilege, and we have team members who have dignity and respect as key attributes.

“We are an ambitious company and have worked hard to build up a great reputation. Our services are in demand and so we need more great people to join the Respectful Care family.

“I look forward to seeing people at the open day and, hopefully, recruiting some great new support and care workers.”

Scott and also his staff team leader, Samantha Maxwell, will be on hand at the open day, which is being held at the Mansfield Woodhouse Resource Centre on Park Road, Mansfield Woodhouse between 10 am and 3 pm, next door to the company’s main offices.

Interested jobseekers who do not have the necessary qualifications but who are keen to forge a career in care, or who have experience of caring for loved ones, will also be considered.

The open day might also be useful for people who would like to find out more about becoming a support or care worker with Respectful Care. They should take with them their CV or complete an application form when they get there.

All applicants will be advised on the day whether or not they have the right credentials for one of the available roles, and whether or not they will be invited to attend a formal interview.

Successful applicants will join a Respectful Care team of about 80 staff who currently help to care for clients in the Mansfield and Ashfield areas. Those clients include adults with learning or physical disabilities and the elderly.

Anyone who would like to be considered for a role at the company, but who cannot attend the open day next week, should call the company’s headquarters on 01623 665011 to make alternative arrangements.
