Uncertain future for Lloyds Bank staff across Notts

Lloyds Banking Group has revealed that 9,000 positions will be lost and 200 branches will be closed over the next three years. However the bank has said that 50 new branches will be opened.

It is understood that urban branches are the most likely to be under threat - meaning town centre locations in Worksop and Mansfield could go first.

Areas that have more than one branch in close proximity will also be the first to be closed.

At this stage it is not known which branches across Notts will be shut.

Worksop has a town centre branch on Bridge Street and Mansfield has stores on Church Street, Sherwood Street and Market Street.
