A cordon has remained around the club since police were called there at 2.20pm on Thursday 13th March in relation to a man acting suspiciously.

Police say trained negotiators are now working with him in a bid to bring the incident to a safe conclusion.

Vine Terrace and High Street remain closed as a precaution.

Police are continuing to issue a warning to residents living nearby to remain inside. Those unable to access their homes are advised to find alternative temporary accommodation or attend Hucknall Leisure Centre.
