Two stolen vans cause £50k damage at Notts caravan site

On January, 4, a white Ford Transit van and a white Ford flatbed lorry were stolen from the depot of Fibre Optic Connections Ltd in Leicestershire.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Polcie said: “In the early hours of Tuesday 16 January the two stolen vehicles were driven into a number of buildings and caravans on a site in Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. No one sustained any injuries.

“Three men dressed in black wearing balaclavas are then believed to have fled the scene on foot in the direction of Kingsway Park.”

Police are now asking anyone who may have seen men in balaclavas or the stolen vans to come forward.
